Orange Julius from our Mother’s Day Menu

eMeals-Mothers-Day-Beakfast-Menu

This year’s Mother’s Day Breakfast Menus is a nice, easy breakfast to cook and present to mom for breakfast in bed or a lovely brunch. She’ll be wowed at how special her breakfast looks. She’ll think she woke up in a 5 star hotel! For the breakfast tart, we’ve cut some corners for you by using a pre-made pizza crust that is flaky, buttery and delicious instead of pastry sheets which are hard to handle and time-consuming to use. The simple, classic flavors of eggs, cheese and bacon will delight her palette. Our fruit dish presents fresh fruit without a lot of cover-up like [...]

Cinco de Mayo Kids’ Activities

pinata-eMeals

Most Americans mistakenly consider Cinco de mayo a sweeping Latin holiday. In actuality, it is an important Mexican Holiday celebrated in its homeland with parades and festivity! This date boasts and celebrates a sweeping defeat of the French army by the outnumbered Mexican army in the small town of Puebla, Mexico in 1862. This was a glorious moment for the country of Mexico and thus became celebrated by her people. As you gather with your family and friends to celebrate this year, let us help you by providing a simple and delicious party plan that serves up to 12 people. [...]

Is it Vacation or Stay-cation this Spring Break?

beach-eMeals

It’s time for spring break! For those of us who can, getting away from it all can be rejuvenating and a welcomed break from the daily grind. Whatever you call the perfect getaway…the beach or the mountains…or just a fun visit to Grandma’s house, it’s great to spend it uninterrupted, focused time with family and friends. Our preference is the beach and this time, it looked like paradise. The Gulf Coast is the beach of beaches and once you’ve been, you’re ruined for life. I lived on the East coast for a few years and, no offense, but the sun [...]

BIG GAME PARTIES EVERYWHERE!

Well, if there ever was a day when you can bet where the majority of the our country will be, it’s Sunday week, February 5th, when the Patriots and the Giants duke it out for #1.  I’m not a die-hard fan of either team, but a huge fan of all the hype that goes into this yearly ritual. The advertising war alone is fun to watch. Halftime has ruined us forever. No more wardrobe malfunctions! For some, it’s just another excuse for a party. And that’s fine with me. If you’ve been paying attention, it’s a frenzy out there, with [...]

How You Can Save 15% Off Your Grocery Bill Today

Back a couple of decades ago, the world didn’t have Walmart on the scale that it has invaded every city in the U.S.A. Sam Walton’s initial strategy was to build his Walmart stores in small towns outside of major cities across America. We had to travel out of town quite a distance to shop at Walmart. I remember, those many years ago, speaking to someone who had a Walmart in his town. He emphatically quoted…”If it aint’ at Walmart, you don’t need it!” We have a love-hate relationship with this monstrosity of a store. While you truly can find most [...]

The Flavors of our Memories

This time of year evokes sentimental feelings that date way back. It seems each year is just another one to roll into all that has passed…all that lingers in our memories. This is a source of pain for some, others joy…most of us, a little of both. But, I think we all want this season to be a sweet time, shared with those you love and cherish. My memories include a sweet family that was part of my childhood. The mom of this bunch was named Mona and she was a ‘bigger than life’ type. She was tall and skinny, [...]
