Jon Acuff: eMeals Makes My Pants Fit

Now I need to be smarter about what I eat. At one point I wasn’t and my wife said, “We can’t keep buying you new pants.” She was right. We didn’t need a line item for “bigger pants” in our budget. I needed to make healthier food decisions, which eMeals makes incredibly easy.

They have a whole section of meal plans that are diet specific. From Gluten Free to Vegetarian to Portion Control, they’ve got me covered. (No word yet if they’ll take my suggestion of a section called “Nashville Skinny Jeans,” but a guy can dream.)

The meals are delicious, the plans are super cost effective and at the end of the day, my pants fit.

Jon Acuff Brought Dinner Back!

Jon AcuffJon Acuff is one of many Dads around the world who is acutely aware of food- even if he doesn’t cook (ok…. he did one time!) And while he is keenly aware that the way to a heart is through the stomach…. he and his wife, Jenny, live out that a crucial way to connect to each other and to their two young daughters is around the dinner table. This past week, we enjoyed the last post of Jon’s dinner challenge to his family, to us and to his readers…

{Jon Acuff} Bringing Dinner Back Week #7 ~ Dinner is a catapult.

We’re perfect parents. We never make mistakes and our kids always clean their rooms and get straight A’s in school and have bright white teeth that will never need braces. Not really, but that’s often the assumption I make about every other parent in the world. They know some trick, they have some special formula, they’re perfect parents and I’m just Jon.
