Summer is around the corner, and the Farmer’s Markets will be open for business. No one enjoys the bounty of the summer harvest more than the Italians, so I asked my favorite Italian cook to share some of her secrets…
Nothing feels better than to hunker down in warmth and quietness while anticipating a yummy warm soup supper that’s simmering on the stove. Soups are such a staple… you can always double the recipe and insure seconds and thirds for the following days. Bake some muffins or just have crackers handy, and you’ve got an easy meal waiting.
Shop local and shop your garden! And then, after you print your E-Mealz plan for the week, shop your pantry and your stockpile and cross the items you already have off your grocery list. We love to support our local farmers! We also like to find out which local grocery stores carry their produce.
