This is my go-to recipe for large gatherings (baby showers, office parties, community potlucks, you name it). It impresses and delights everyone who tries it, and it looks like something that took a long time to create. (The fact that it is ridiculously easy to make can just be our little secret!)

So, are you ready for the awesome? Let’s do it!

Cream Cheese-Chocolate Chip Cannoli Dip

1 (8-oz) block cream cheese spread (such as Philadelphia)

1 cup heavy cream

3 Tbsp plain yogurt

1 (15-oz) container ricotta cheese

2/3 cup powdered sugar

1/2 cup mini semisweet chocolate chips

  1. Beat heavy cream with an electric mixer until stiff peaks form (2-3 minutes). Transfer half of mixture into a second bowl. Beat cream cheese and yogurt into remaining half of whipped cream until blended. (To make the mixing process easier, I recommend cutting the cream cheese into 8 sections.)
  2. Fold in ricotta cheese. Fold in reserved half of whipped cream.
  3. Gently fold in powdered sugar. (Your dip will start to look a bit glossier and it will start to taste like the inside of a cannoli.) Fold in chocolate chips.
  4. To serve, sprinkle with more chocolate chips, and dust with powdered sugar. (The perfect dipping instruments, in my opinion, are strawberries and graham crackers!)

I’m thrilled to be sharing this recipe with the eMeals community. I’ve been an eMeals subscriber since just before my second child was born. I’ll never go back to having to create my own menu again, when eMeals does such a great job for me. I save a ton of time on meal prep every week, and the food we make is healthy and delicious, which means we can splurge on desserts like this one every now and then!
