Double Chocolate Cheesecake

Make every relationship count by taking time to cook or bake together. In our Family Week download, we’ve provided an entire “Date Night” dinner menu of steak, potatoes, salad, and topped off with this Double Chocolate Cheesecake. It’s a rich, creamy and chocolaty restaurant-quality dessert at home.

The secret to mastering the creamy consistency of cheesecake is to let the cream cheese soften completely, so plan ahead and take it out of the fridge one to two hours before you start. Beat the cream cheese, sugar, and cocoa powder two to three minutes, until it’s very light and fluffy. After you add the eggs, you want to do minimal beating, only enough to combine the rest of the ingredients. We hope these tips will help you make the perfect cheesecake at home for a fraction of the cost.
