Our baby boy Trigg turned 15 this weekend and it was quite the celebration. For his parents, this weekend was a time to show to our son how much we celebrate his life and how blessed we are to be his parents. However, there is a slight difference in what this weekend was about for him. For our son, it was a time to get 15 of his closest friends together for an awesome time of hanging out and being boys. How could we see things so differently you ask?? What do we do to please each side’s expectations you ask? Well those of you that have teenage boys can answer that question with flying colors. We had a great party with 15 of his “closest” friends and they hung out and did “boy stuff”. Needless to say, there was lots of noise, lots of activity, and most of all lots of food!
We did a buffet style dinner, a list of their favorite snacks and homemade waffles with a side of bacon was provided for breakfast. I feel like after my children are out of the house, I could have a promising career as a short order cook because of all the friends that are in and out each weekend. Who knows, I may pursue it??? It is my son’s preferred love language to have me cook a really good meal, his favorite snacks or a big breakfast. He will tell you one of his favorite ways to wake up in the morning is to the smell of bacon. He claims he wakes up happier when he smells pork. To each his own, right??
Well, I ask my son what he would like to have for dinner for his party and he requested pizza and… french dips. The French dip alone makes my son a true believer in E-Mealz. He believes that this sandwich is one of God’s greatest blessings in his life. He savors every bite of all THREE sandwiches he eats when I make this E-Mealz favorite for our family. So now that I’ve told you of our love for the “French dip” what are your favorite E-Mealz recipes? I know you have them and we would love to hear about it. Email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. Have a blessed day!
