Green smoothies are a typical go-to when you’re trying to reset your eating habits and feel healthier all at once. Fortunately, green smoothies are almost always a good choice for both of those things.
Because of their uncanny ability to hide healthy ingredients, smoothies are an easy way to sneak in plenty of vitamins and minerals in one neat package. You can cover up the vegetal taste of spinach with sweetness from mango. Think kale makes smoothies taste too earthy? Add in some honey, and the “green” flavor of your greens slips away.
Full of flavor, our non-dairy green smoothie provides sweetness with the spice from fresh ginger. Spinach gives this refreshing drink its bright green color and adds a dose of chlorophyll, which will help your body detox. Serve with a handful of nuts for a boost of healthy fat and protein.

In a hurry in the morning? Smoothies take just a handful of minutes to blend, but combining all the ingredients can eat away your precious pre-work minutes. Instead of making the smoothie mixture the morning you’re blending, make them the night before. Place all the ingredients for your smoothie in a large zip-top freezer-safe bag. (Leave the greens out of the bag because they turn watery when frozen.) Freeze everything overnight, and drop into the blender the next morning. Give it a few blends, then add your greens and blend until well combined. The extra ice from the frozen ingredients will make your smoothie extra cold and luxurious.
