Healthy Snack – Watermelon with Goat Cheese


Crisp, juicy watermelon is a summer favorite because of it’s naturally sweet flavor, but this fruit is also a highly nutritious snack. Watermelon gets its red color from lycopene, a powerful antioxidant that has been linked to a reduced risk of heart attack and some forms of cancer. It’s also high in Vitamins A and C and low in calories. Top with creamy goat cheese or feta cheese for a light snack.
