This recipe is so easy! A few simple, fresh ingredients combine into a fast dinner made with ingredients you can feel good about feeding your family. With a super-short ingredient list and hands-off cooking, it’s a Clean Eating meal even picky eaters will love.
This recipe is perfect for those on a diet but craving Italian. For six servings, it clocks in at only 300 calories/serving!
Here are three tips to make this dish yours:
- Promote even cooking by making sure the chicken breasts are the same relative size. If needed, you can place the chicken breasts between two sheets of plastic wrap, and pound to an even thickness.
- Switch up the flavor profile by substituting regular or smoked provolone for mozzarella. Or use a combo of mozzarella and grated Parmesan to add an extra layer of flavor.
- Add spinach in place of (or in addition to) the basil to make it Florentine.
