Latest & Greatest Way to Get Organized

Have you all heard of Pinterest yet? There has been a lot of talk of it in the blog world and online, but a lot of people still have no idea what it is or what all the fuss is about. According to Pinterest’s website: “It is a virtual pinboard. Pinterest lets you organize and share all the beautiful things you find on the web. People use pinboards to plan their weddings, decorate their homes, and organize their favorite recipes. Best of all, you can browse pinboards created by other people. Browsing pinboards is a fun way to discover new things and get inspiration from people who share your interests.”

I personally use Pinterest to accumulate new recipes, to corral ideas for future kids, home decor ideas, organizing tips & even new ways to tie a scarf, plus many more thoughts and ideas for DIY projects and other things. I used to have 10 page word documents of recipes or DIY projects that I wanted to find time to do but they quickly become disorganized or forgotten. The fact that you can view each of your ideas divided by categories and then just by a picture is so appealing.

Below are just a few of the things I’ve pinned on my boards:

Girl Scout Samoa Cookie Bars

Pumpkin Pie White Hot Chocolate

Organizing tips: use towel racks to store pot lids

So, what do you think? Is Pinterest tempting you yet?

And, now for our coupon tip of the week, which actually involves Pinterest……
If you are a current E-Mealz subscriber, you can pin an E-Mealz recipe from our blog or another idea you like from our blog with a link back to E-Mealz on Pinterest.  Then, email for a free month to be added to your subscription. Happy pinning!

Are any of you on Pinterest? Do you like it? If so, what do you use it for?

I think the site is really neat. My only problem is that I can’t seem to get in invitation to create an account. Any way you can help with that? Thanks!!

I love Pinterest!!! My problem is getting off it once I’m on!! There is so many great things to see and pin. But I love not having to file pieces of paper with recipes, ideas and tips. It’s a great site.

I actually have several e-mealz pins up – can they all be turned in, or one-credit-per-person?

Thank you so much for the fabulous resources!
