If you’re gathering around the TV to watch the NBA playoffs, it seems only natural to have game time snacks around! It seems that in most households sports=food! With game 4 coming up tomorrow, we want to make sure you’ve got a couple of new dips in your back pocket to wow your family or crowd that will be gathered around the television.
The first recipe is a crowd favorite each time I make it. My friends & husband gobble it up and I have gotten asked for the recipe every time I have made it. It’s a nice change of pace for a dip because it’s not as heavy as most, it uses fresh ingredients, and it is cost effective since there’s only a few ingredients. The first dip we’re featuring is a Greek Feta Dip that you serve with toasty baguette.
- Olive Oil
- 1 pkg feta cheese
- 1 bunch scallions
- 1 baguette
- Greek Seasoning
- Dice the scallions & tomatoes.
- Pour olive oil into platter or bowl.
- Spread tomatoes, scallions, & feta over the top.
- Mix gently together.
- Top with Greek seasoning.
- Slice baguette and serve!
This second dip is so good you might just skip the chips and eat it with a spoon! For a little extra kick, leave the seeds in the jalapenos and add an extra shake of hot sauce.
