This Little Piggy Turned 1 Birthday Party Theme

I love going to 1st birthday parties because it usually is a big family event.  I remember when my children were younger we would go all out for birthday celebrations and have our entire family over and the decorations would be over the top.   My niece just had her son’s first birthday party and we all showed up for the main event.  I was amazed at the birthday cake that she made herself to go with the theme of “This Little Piggy”.  She has shared the recipe with me and I wanted to share it with you as well as some of the cute party favors that she had for everyone.  We all wore pig noses and pig hats and the party favors were pig key chains.  It was a squeal!  Enjoy!

Hi Hannah! Here’s how to make the pig noses: pink construction paper cut oval used sharpie to make two dots for nose holes. Then used pink felt to make strip- glued around oval – cut tiny holes on side of felt-tied elastic in holes.
