What is Bulgur Wheat?

Even though bulgur has been around for a long time, this Middle Eastern staple is seen more and more frequently in blogs and cookbooks alike. Did you know that bulgur wheat consists of wheat kernels that have been steamed, dried and then crushed? It’s the same thing as cracked wheat, and is a great way to get whole grains into your diet.
